   Fellow hip hop heads and readers in this blog I’d like to let you all in on some amazing local talent that deserves a moment of your time. This blog will be about an up and coming rapper from Cleveland, Ohio by the name of S-Money. S-Money (real name Steve) born and raised in Cleveland started rapping and writing at the young age of 13. While hip hop may have been just something to listen to for some people, for S-Money hip hop is a way of life. Going through some hard times in his life S-Money put all his energy into his writing and the result lead to hard hitting flows and amazing lyrics. Inspired by many artists including 2pac, The Notorious B.I.G, Nas, Big L, Jadakiss, Wu Tang Clan and UGK  S-Money aspired to become a rapper himself and thus his journey began. S-Money has a very unique style which includes great lyricism, hard hitting flows and amazing punchlines. S-Money amongst writing and rapping also performed at many venues including the popular venue “Phantasy Nightclub”.

  Some of S-Money’s early work included his debut mixtapes “Growing Pains vol. 1 & 2”. On these early mixtapes  S-Money displayed a stlye that would set him apart from other rappers. Amongst writing and performing at venues S-Money would soon begin to work on what is considered to be one of his breakthrough mixtapes “Go Hard or Go Homeless”. Combining everything S-Money brought to the game of hip hop his mixtape “Go Hard or Go Homeless” is easily a fan favorite. I’m just glad there is still true hip hop in Cleveland. S-Money defiantly gives you that raw uncut type music, and it comes at you in every way!
